Group Sessions

Speech Made Easy groups run during the school half term holiday's (February, May and Summer). The groups are designed to support children to develop the speech, language and communication skills, in a fun and engaging way.

Each group has a maximum of 6 children.

Attention Astronauts

For children with limited attention for adult led-activities, little or no verbal language, or those with social communication and interaction difficulties.

Word Connectors

Word connectors is for children who have a vocabulary of at least 50 single words, and are not yet able to join words together or those who are starting to join 2 words together e.g., “mummy juice”.

Word Boosters

This group is for children with limited single words. The group aims to increase their single word vocabulary of nouns and verbs.

Say and Play

(Developing speech through play)

For children with limited expressive (spoken) language skills. This group aims to develop their speech through play.

Young Explores

(Time for Toddlers)

For children aged 4-5 years old, with limited social communication and interaction skills. This groups helps to develop turn-taking, sharing and communication skills.

Ready for Reception

Ready for reception is a group for children about to start school. It will support parents to ensure that their child has all the necessary speech and language skills needed to flourish and develop throughout their school life.
